Ogoniland: Rep deekor Tinubu homework on the original east-west road sign

A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Dumnamene Deekor, Tuesday, urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu directing the federal ministry of the works to jointly adhere to the original design of the Eastern road, in particular the sections that go through Ogoniland.

Deekor appealed as he addressed journalists to the National Assembly. President Tinubu also praised for having paid the priority attention on the long -abandoned road and having quickly traced his reconstruction in progress.

“The east-west road is not only any road. It is a strategic economic corridor that crosses the heart of Ogoniland and connects the main hubs such as the Oceanic terminal, the free trade area, the company of fertilizers notaries and hundreds of other activities,” he said.
