Romanian giants conclude the agreement to sign the Defender of Super Eagles in a free transfer

The 31 -year -old International Defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has joined Romanian Cfr Cluj in a free transfer after his cancellation of contract with Kasimpasa, reports Owngoalnigeria.com.

It becomes the seventh firm on the Romanian side that wait for them to shoot them to the glory of the League after ending second last season. The duration of the contract was not made public as at the time of this report.

Cluj will be his seventh club since he became a professional in 2013. He has had spells in the Netherlands, England, Türkiye and Spain. Nationally, it has 69 caps for the national senior team of Nigeria.

The climax of his career was to help the team win the 2013 African Cup of Africa, and also played in two different tournaments of the World Cup in 2014 and 2018, respectively. His last participation with the Nigerian team came in the last AFCon in Ivory Coast.
