Tuesday chief of naval staff decorates officers recently promoting

Abuja (basic reporter) The head of the naval staff, the deputy admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, decorated seven officers of the Nigerian navy who were promoted to their new ranks of lieutenant commander. Their decoration was in a colorful ceremony known in the naval tradition as the “Shipping of Stripes.

The head of the naval staff who was represented at the event by the head of politics and plans, the back admiral Ibrahim Abdullahi Dewu, praised the officers for their unshakable professionalism, integrity and dedication to duty.

Admiral DEWU, while congratulating the officers who have just promoted and their spouses, underlined that the elevation was not only a recognition of the personal effort, but also a testimony of the vital support provided by their families. He observed that the stability of the domestic front allows officers to remain focused on their responsibilities.

“Today’s ceremony is a celebration of hard work, integrity, professionalism and perseverance,” said Admiral Dewu. “Your promotion is not only the recognition of past results, but a call to a greater responsibility as lieutenant commanders in the Nigerian navy. You must double your efforts in our collective mission to combat insecurity and maritime crime.

Among the decorated officers: Lieutenant Sadiq Alhassan, Lieutenant Augusta Aku, Lieutenant James Enejoh, Lieutenant Clement Eyeh, Lieutenant James Fatika, Lieutenant Titilayo George and Lieutenant Deborah Nwaorji.

The event was testified by family members, high naval officers, branch garments, directors and other supporters. The ceremony ended with a photo session and a reception in honor of the officers just promoted.
