Kwara United Triumph in an exciting penalty shooting for Clinch 2025 Cup FA, Continental Spot Book

Kwara United has recorded her name in the history books once again, emerging as the champions of the Federation of the Federation of 2025 (FA Cup) after a dramatic victory of a penalty serve on Abakaliki FC in the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.

In a final that lived up to their turnover, both parties fought for a goalless draw in 90 minutes of regulation time. The victory not only Crowns Kwara United as champions, but also assures them a place in the Caf Confederation Cup next season, joining Abia Warriors, who ended as a third place of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Meanwhile, the Stars Remo Duo (NPFL Champions) and Rivers United (NPFL runner -up) will fly the Nigeria flag in the 2025/26 Champions League of CAF.

The result is a historical achievement for Kwara United and a moment of heartbreak for Abakaliki FC, whose fairy tale crosses competition captured national attention. The helpless defeated several top -level teams on the way to the final and won a general respect for their energetic performances.
