The Nigerian stock market began the second half of the year on a negative trajectory, with consequent loss of 150 billion walnuts for investors.
In particular, the capitalization of the Nigerian Exchange Ltd. (NGX) has decreased by n150 billion or 0.20 percent descending from N75.951 trillion on Monday to N75,801 trillion.
The All-Share index also decreased by 0.20 percent or 237.34 points, closing at 119,741.23 compared to 119,978.57 published on Monday.
This reduction tendency is attributed to supporting profits in University Press, Scaa Nigeria, Thomas Wyatt Nigeria and 20 other actions.
In the meantime, the size of the market has closed positive with 48 earnings and 23 losers.
Honeywell Furlo Mill led the 10 %chain graphic designer, closing at N23.65 while RT Briscoe also increased by 10 %, ending the N2.75 session per share.
McNichols rose by 10 %, stable at N2.53 and the insurance of mutual benefits increased by 10 %, ending up in N1.21 per share.
In addition, Lasaco Assaunce gained 9.96 percent, closing at N2 98 per share.
On the loser side, the University Press dropped by 10 %, ending at N5.04 while Scaa Nigeria lost 9.83 percent, closing at N4.86 per share.
Thomas Wyatt Nigeria dropped by 9.57 percent, finishing the session at N1.70 and PZ Cussions Nigeria fell by 7.89 percent, settling at N35.00 per share.
Chams decreased by 6.38 percent, closing at N2.20 per action.
527.1 million shares of the value of N11.28 billion have been exchanged in 21,546 transactions, compared to 2.03 billion shares for a value of N44.34 billion which were exchanged in 25,172 transactions before Monday.
Transactions in Ellah Lakes’ actions have exceeded the graphic designer with 46.1 million shares of the value of N385.1 million.
This is followed by UPDC with 38.5 million shares of the value of N119.66 million, while the Universal Insurance Company has sold 30.4 million shares of the value of N18.19 million.
The Nigerian breweries exchanged 28.9 million shares of the value of N1.75 billion and Ja Paul Gold made a transaction of 21.75 million shares for a value of N52.19 million.
