Wike Brave Atiku, Amaechi, marked others to show the Nigerians their score cards in the office

Federal Capital Region Minister (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Friday accused the leaders of the opposition coalition of deceiving Nigerians.

He also challenged them to show the Nigerian people their achievements while serving.

The coalition group led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a platform to seize the power of all Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2027 election.

Other opposition coalition leaders were former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, Labor Party presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, former Senate President, David Mark and former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.

The Minister, who spoke with a journalist in Abuja, referred to a statement credited to the former ADC chairman, Ralph Nwosu, during the opening of the executive committee of the party on Wednesday in Abuja.

Nwosu was in his speech at the event said the process of forming a coalition began 18 months ago.

In his reaction, Wike noted that if the coalition began 18 months ago, it means that the opposition element started the coalition only six months after the President of the Tinubu Bola served.

He says; “” Someone came to the office and in six months, they started a coalition that said that the man had not yet performed.

“But you have the opportunity to become a senate president for eight years, you have the opportunity to be a speaker for four years, you have the opportunity to become a minister of transportation for eight years. He has never made Nigerians angry to be happy.

“But someone lived in the office for six months and began to tell people how Nigerians were angry. What kind of people made you angry?”

“I have said, everyone shows your score card. God gave you the opportunity to be in the office to make Nigerians happy but you refuse.

“Because you have left the office, you are angry. You say Nigerians are angry. You want to return to power. You will not return. You will not return to power.”
