Heartland FC Condole Promise Nwachukwu Family

Heartland FC has expressed deep sorrow over the death of its former General Manager, Promise Uchenna Nwachukwu, describing his demise as a painful loss to the club and Nigerian football.

In a press release, the club’s management said they received the news of Nwachukwu’s death with shock, noting that Heartland would always remain grateful for his nearly two decades of dedicated service.

During his time at the club, he held various positions, including Assistant Team Manager, Team Manager, Sports Director and Interim General Manager, contributing immensely to the growth and development of Heartland FC.

The club also recognized his wider contribution to Nigerian football as coordinator of the NPFL Club Owners Association.

Heartland FC expressed its deepest condolences to the Nwachukwu family, praying that God would grant them the strength and comfort to bear the irreparable loss. The club also appealed to respect the privacy of the grieving family who are mourning his passing.

“He vows that Nwachukwu will always be remembered for his commitment, loyalty and invaluable service to Heartland FC. May his soul rest in perfect peace,” the club management said.
