Super Eagles coach calls 35 players for Chan Camp

The coach of the Super Eagles, Eric Chelle, has appointed 35 players, including Captain Junior Nduka, Pope Daniel and the king of goals of NPFL Anas Yusuf on the provisional list of the Chan Eagles for the eighth championship of African nations in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda next month.

The first choice goalkeeper, Henry Ani, is also called, along with defenders Waliu Ojetoy, Ifeanyi Onybuchi, Mohammed Kabiru and Uzondu Harrison, the Savior of the midfielders Isaac and Haddi Haruna, and Megwo Sunday Megwo, Adamu Abubakar and Godwin Obaje.

The goalkeepers Kayode Bankole and Ebenezer Harcourt, defenders Sodiq Ismaila and Stephen Manyo Egbe, midfielder Adam Aminu and strikers Joseph and Theitope Vincent have also been invited.

Nigeria, runner -up 2018, are found in Group D of the 19 team tournament, along with the Senegal, Sudan and Congo holder. The Super Eagles will play their first two games of the competition, against Senegal and Sudan, at the Amman stadium on the island of Zanzíbar, before facing Congo at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Dar is Salam.

All guest players have received instructions to appear at the Stars Sports Institute, Ikenne-Remo, Ogun state, on Monday, July 7.
