‘Stop lying, you don’t have a bicycle at school,’ stab classmates Wike claimed to drive Benz as a student

A man identified as Allen Wogu, who claims to be a classmate of Minister Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has denied the minister’s statement that he made a lot of money in the beginning of life and driving a Mercedes Benz car as a student at Port Harcourt University.

Wike, who made a claim when speaking on the television program of the channel last week, has said the accusation of enriching himself was leveled against him by the former Governor of the State Rivers Rotimi Amaechi was wrong because he was a man who was made himself who began to make money at a very young age.

Rejecting corruption accusations, Wike said he personally bought his rolls and did not accept it as a bribe or political assistance, emphasizing that there were no contractors or colleagues who gave him a vehicle.

“I have rolls-Royce. So what? Nobody gave it to me. I bought it. People ask, ‘With what money?’ Let me tell you – I come from a comfortable background, “said Minister FCT.

He then stated that his father was a general manager of several companies and that he enjoyed a decent lifestyle even as a student.

“As a student, I ride Mercedes-Benz. So don’t let anyone tell you that I suddenly become rich. I don’t come from poverty,” he added.

But while stabbing Wike’s claim in a Facebook post on Thursday, Wogu said Wike lied about coming from a special background because he was a student who struggled who was not even able to buy a bicycle not to talk about riding Mercedes-Benz when studying political science and education in the late 1980s.

“Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. I wonder how someone who has a classmate who, with God’s grace, is still alive will come on national television and claim that he drives a Mercedes Benz car between 1986 and 1990 at Port Harcourt University, where he studies political/education,” Wogu wrote in the post.

“Jesus Christ, please mercy. This person is wearing a sandals with a buckle and never rides a bicycle for 4 years, and I have more than 4000 witnesses. So this is how he lies? Too surprised here,” he added.
