The leadership of the Popular Democratic Party (PDP) in the State of Yobe, unanimously declared that it is standing with a clear and united voice in the debunking narrative, which suggested that its members are disgusing to join a colitics party.
In a declaration made available for the project in Abuja, the president of the PDP of Yobe State, the senator Umar El-Gash, contrasted the voice that insisted: “Let it be made abundantly clear; that the PDP in the State of Yobe remains intact, resolved and unwavering in the commitment for the ideals, the value and principles of our great party”
While by further dissipating the voice, El-Gash said that the insinuation that the members were aligning with any coalition was false unfounded and a desperate attempt by political opponents to create confusion and disunion.
“We are proud to say that the PDP in Yobe is today stronger than it has been in recent times. Following the release of some individuals whose actions constantly undermine the collective progress of the party, the atmosphere within the party has improved considerably.
“The internal sabotage has been reduced and what we now have is a Rhongiovanito PDP focused on the spontaneous party, basic mobilization, strategic planning towards the electrockery victory.
“We recognize the concerns of our faithful supporters who have contacted to express concerns for these false relationships.
“No PDP official in the State of Yobe has joined any coalition or alliance outside the party.
“Our structure remains intact by the departments at the state level, with a leadership engaged in progress.
“We reaffirm our unquestionable loyalty to the national leadership of the PDP party and the establishment of our party.
“We are focused on units, reconciliation and a renewed push towards the recovery of our legitimate place as a favorite choice of people.
“The popular Democratic Party remains the only visible platform for good government, the development focused on the people and the credible opposition in the State of Yobe.
“We will not be distracted by propaganda orchestrated or intimidation. Rather, we are more determined than ever to consolidate our base and deliver the message of hope, inclusiveness and democratic growth at every corner of the state.
“While we go on, the PDP in the state of Yobe remains open to a real reconciliation, constructive commitment and progressive partnerships, but only in the framework of our Constitution and in full loyalty towards our party.”
