Six brigade troops nab two suspicions, recover …

Continuing their efforts to free the state of Taraba of weapons and illegal ammunition, the troops of 6 brigades of the Nigerian army/ 3 Operation Whirl Stroke (Ottus), they successfully arrested two suspicions and recovered a cache of illegal weapons during a recent operation in the area of the local government of Donga.

By acting in credible intelligence regarding the presence of illegal weapons in some places within Donga LGA, the troops, according to a relationship of the security analyst, Zagazola Makama, conducted a targeted raid on suspicious criminal hiding places in the village of Gayama.

The operation led to the arrest of two identified individuals such as Haruna Samari and Dantala Mamman, who were found in possession of illegal weapons and other objects.

Articles recovered during the operation included:

One (1) underground gun, one (1) underground gun charger with 10 9 mm ammunition strokes, one (1) empty case of special ammunition 7.62 mm, two (2) buildings, three (3) single bar cannons, a single bar radios, three (3) Danish cannons

The suspicions are in custody during the investigation.

The commander 6 Ottlas 3 Ottws 3 Ottws Nigerian, the brigade General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa, praised the troops for their rapid and decisive action and reaffirmed the brigade’s commitment to maintain peace and security in the state of Taraba.

He thanked the members of the public and urged them to continue to provide timely and credible information to the security agencies to help the current operations throughout the state.
