Alleged drug dealers kill Ndlea officers in Onsdo

Dealers suspected of drugs have killed a National Narcotics Law Enforcement Agency (Ndlea) officer in Ondo State.

Officers attached to the Ondo state command in Ndlea were shot dead during an attack on an apartment in Ita’nla in Ondo Town on Tuesday.

Commissioner of State Police, Adebowale Lawal, confirmed the incident on Tuesday night at Akure.

Lawal said that four suspects had been arrested in connection with the crime.

CP said: “Soon it happened, we strengthened some of our officers to the scene.

“We have arrested four suspects who are now in our detention.

“We have also found a single barrel weapon, and investigations are ongoing to bring the perpetrators to order.

“The rest of the officers have been stored in the hospital morgue.”
