Bird strike triggers flight disorders in Air Peace

Air Peace has announced a temporary flight disorder after one of the aircraft suffered a bird strike shortly after taking off on Thursday morning.

In a statement entitled “Air Return Because of Bird Strigation,” Airline spokesman, Osifo-Wiskey Efey, said the airline was working diligently to minimize disturbances.

The statement reads: “This morning, P47100 flights, operating the Lagos-Enugu route, experienced bird strikes and had to return air for safety examinations.

“We sincerely empathize with our passengers for the inconvenience caused and attract your patience and understanding when we work diligently to minimize disturbances”.

The airline notes that it remains “firm in upholding the highest safety standards, and the safety of our passengers and crew continues to be our top priority”.
