Ghana’s protest at Accra, demanding that Nigerians come out because of insecurity, other bad traits (video)

Hundreds of Ghana residents on Saturday, took to the streets of ACCRA to protest the infiltration of the Nigerians to their country.

They also demanded direct deportation of Nigeria from their country for alleged involvement in crime and social crime.

The protesters accuse Nigerians of triggering insecurity and moral decadence, including armed robbery, kidnapping, fraud, prostitution, and ritual killings in their country.

The protesters, who carry placards with disturbing messages such as
“Who protects the rights and freedom of Ghana?” “Nigeria must go,” “End the kidnapping,” “Ending prostitution,” “Final Armed Robbery,” “End of Fraud,” and “End of Ritual Murder,” accused that Nigeria had turned their country into a dangerous criminal zone.

In a video that has been shared on the social media platform, the protesters who turn on the national color of Ghana yellow and red gather at the popular Obra in Accra and ask their government to immediately expel all Nigerians who live in the country both legally or not.

A female protester, who is one of the group leaders, was heard saying:

“Nigeria must leave because you can’t be in someone’s country and do anything. Nigeria kidnapped and used people for rituals. Our children will disappear because of IGBOS.”

Other placards are read:

“Our health is at stake because of mass prostitution,” explained the increasingly frustration of the public over the perception of health and safety risks allegedly related to the activities of several Nigerians in the country.

Another protester, riding a motorcycle, explains how Nigeria’s presence in Ghana triggered insecurity in the country, stating that time would come when they and their children would not be able to go out to buy something and go home safely.

He appointed an incident involving a Ghana High Commission official, who had just died in Abuja, Nigeria, after the robbery incident.

“We know that we are all part of Ecowas, but what is the purpose of Nigeria’s heavy presence in Ghana? What do they really do here? Now they kill us.

“One time will come when you and me – and even our children – can’t get out, buy something, and return safely.

“You can’t step out at night just to buy Indomie noodles. You and I can’t go to work and go home peacefully. Just look at what they do to our mother in the Ghana High Commissioner in Nigeria.

“High Commissioner in Nigeria -they killed him in his car. Why, Nigeria? Are you the only in Ghana? Are you the only person in the world?

“China is pursuing the Nigerians, South Africa pursuing the Nigerians, Uganda pursues the Nigerians. Why is that always the Nigerians, especially IGBO and called ‘King Igbo’? Ihenetu, as” Eze Ndi Igbo Ghana “(King of Igbo in Ghana).

Protests have triggered debate around the issues of sovereignty, cultural identity, and boundaries of foreign community leadership in the country, which forced the Southeast Council of traditional ruler to eliminate the use of the title “Eze Ndigbo” by IGBO leaders outside the land of IGBO.
