Fulham reaches an agreement to sign the new Super Eagles defender for 27 million euros

English Premier League side Fulham have reached an agreement with Trabzonspor for the signing of newly-capped Nigerian international defender Chibuike Nwaiwu, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

As we previously exclusively reported, the 22-year-old reached an agreement on personal terms, leaving both teams to shell out a transfer fee, and a deal was reached. He will now fly to England to undergo a routine medical examination.

A fee of €27 million was agreed with €3 million in bonuses, and Trabzonspor also have a 15% sell-on clause in the event of a transfer during his time at the club.

Sources say the lanky defender signs a five-year deal. It will be his second big move in six months after moving from Austrian Wolfsberger AC in January to Trabzonspor.

He played 16 league games, where he found the back of the net three times.
