A Day of Joy and Fellowship: CAC Way-to-life Picnic unforgettable of Ottawa, Dupe Olaoye-Osinkolu, Ottawa, Canada

The Way-to-life of the Apostolic Church of Christa in Ottawa, Canada, recently hosted an annual successful picnic that embodied the spirit of authentic evangelism. The event was a masterclass to spread happiness and build community. The shepherd Matthew Babaunde showed his skills to grill, serving delicious chicken, beef and fish for the participants. The culinary team, led by YakoOyo and including qualified women as the only Babunde, Biola Itasanmi and Mosunmola Ogunyemi, worked tirelessly to prepare and serve exceptional foods and refreshments.

Tokunbo Adwuyi, the master’s degree of the church ceremonies, brought its distinctive energy to the event, keeping the atmosphere lively and engaging. The sporting events, supervised by the musical director Femi Itasanmi, presented a series of activities, including Scrabble, Ludo, Basket, hockey, table tennis and volleyball.

But it was the dance floor that really stole the show! The shepherd DEBO Adeoye and the evangelist Omowunmi Adeoye showed their impressive dance moves, while the elderly of the Church and the members such as the Ajayis, Leramos and Bamise have shone like stars. The event was a testimony of the power of the community and the company, making it an unforgettable experience for all the subjects involved.
