Nurses deny suspend the strike – Thage

The surprising nurse denied emptying their strike, saying that the Minister of Health and Social Wellness, prof. Mohammed Pate was wrong to say it.

National President of Nannm, Morakinyo Rilwan, said that it was not true that the strike had been canceled.

Rilwan said to Daily Trust: “If it had been the minister who organized the strike, then he could cancel him.

“As far as I’m concerned, the strike organized by the Association is still in progress.

“The minister did not organize the strike, so he does not have the authority to cancel him.

“There are procedures to follow if it must be canceled.”

Previously, the national public relations of the Association, Tobeiki Omomo, said that the strike that began on Wednesday was still ongoing despite a meeting with the Minister on Friday, adding that the national executive council of the organization will meet on Saturday to review the result of the meeting with the minister and determine the next line of action.
