Specific advisors for the Tinubu Bola President on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, have stated that the President’s performance over the past two years has exceeded the achievements recorded by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the first eight years in power between 1999 and 2007.
In a statement posted on his X -Holder on Friday, Bwala argues that Tinubu serves in a much harder condition than that PDP faced at the beginning of the Fourth Republic. He said the President had made important progress in the economy, security, and governance despite this challenge.
Bwala noted that while the PDP government under the former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Umaru Musa Yar’adua benefited from the forgiveness of foreign debt, Tinubu had to compete by serving and paying the debt.
He also drew a comparison in the performance of the oil sector, which stated: “From 1999 to 2007, our oil output can be equated with a miracle compared to what President Tinubu must do.”
According to Bwala, the return of the Democratic government in 1999 received Nigeria International Goodwill, sympathy, and support, while Tinubu had to prove itself on the global stage without such benefits.

In national security, he argued that Nigeria was relatively more peaceful in 1999, but said PDP security management finally led to the Boko Haram rebellion. He claimed that Tinubu, in two years, had “demeaning insecurity as far as we can now see the way to end it.”
Furthermore, Bwala praised the President for taking what he described as a “difficult decision” that the previous administration had been avoided for fear of political reactions, stating that such steps had established the economy on the recovery track.
“The wrong resource manages that causes economic setbacks to make the president in succession fear of making the decisions needed to overcome them frontally. Patbat takes bullets, making decisions, and our economy is recovering safely now,” he said.
Presidential Aide states that the list of Tinubu’s achievements “continues,” insisting that the president’s leadership is difficult to show his capacity and courage.
