Akpabio: “I returned from London”, disabbuts bad health (see pix)

The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Gcon, returned to the country from London this Monday morning, looking robust and dissipating rumors of bad health.

Some reports on social media had said that Akpabio was seriously ill and admitted to a London hospital, but the president of the Senate rejected the voices as the imagination of suppliers. “There is nothing like it. I am in shape as a violin. I stopped in London only for a short holiday,” said Akpabio.

We remind you that the President of the Senate had participated in the sixth World Conference of Parliaments of Parliament in Geneva between 29 and 31 July, after which he had headed to London to rest after a frenetic legislative year.

The President of the Senate, who landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 4 in the morning was received on Monday at the presidential wing by senators, helpers and Nigerians from various social classes.

Questions on the field from journalists upon arrival, the president of the Senate promised robust legislative commitments to the second half. He also justified the presence of a strong Nigerian delegation at the International Parliamentary Union of Geneva, ensuring the people multiple derivatives of democratic governance and effective collaboration with other government weapons.
