I always found it curious that Dr. Kate McCann, who is a qualified anaesthetist, never again practised after her daughter's disappearance.
I think that it may be indicative of someone who lost confidence in her abilities to safely administer sedatives, perhaps after inadvertently overdosing somebody?

Everything about this case is disgusting. The parents in the group spent almost no time with their children. It's crazy. And then when evening comes they choose to take them out of the daycare club; possibly because they couldn't sleep there. But having spend the entire day together, they chose to spend four hours drinking and drinking too much. Even if they weren't guilty of killing Madeleine, they are guilty of neglect. You don't check up on children left alone because you don't leave them alone. When I was on vacations with my parents, I would spend the entire day and night with them. If they wanted to socialize over a drink they would sit quietly at the balcony while I slept in the room next to them.
There is a lot of hearsay, having watched lots of videos, they never handled the media well, did shady things but remember they just lost their kid, however they were not good at looking after kid
Absolutely! A pact of silence well rehearsed and directed by bully-in-charge, cum guilty narcissistic father, who always seemed to put himself first at the detriment of the children they conceived artificially. Why have children at all??? The timeline didn't start on the 3rd, there would have been no time, once the shock eased up, to elaborate such a hugely successful hoax. They needed more than 45 mins to plot such a farce. Madeleine died the night before, when she was heard by the upstairs neighbour, crying for a long period of time without any parent intervening.

If a mother of a missing child/children does not go searching frantically it is because she knows what happened to her child and knows there is nothing to be done.

There’s a German under investigation for her disappearance, and apparently German officials say they have proof she is no longer alive, they mentioned tapes they found on his property
Thank you this video has to be the very best I have listened to in this case I am sure Gerry has many friends in high places and it's a huge cover up, the window is also high weather going out of it or reading up to it from the outside. Gerry was missing from the restaurant for approximately 30 minutes that night, I don't believe anyone has asked him where he was? I bet Gerry wasn't happy when Jane Tanner confirmed he was missing from the restaurant for a long time

Sadly,Maddie was taken by a person unknown. The parents are guilty of neglect and perhaps lying about how often they checked on Maddie and her siblings. We live in a world where child predators roam freely. More than likely it was a local familiar with the hotel and the surrounding area. The poor baby is gone for forever.

All young children just want to be in the loving care of their parents. They grow and flourish, playing and learning under the watchful encouragement and proud admiration of mum and dad. These children seem to have spent most of the holiday in the care of strangers who were paid to look after them or left alone in empty holiday apartments while the parents enjoyed themselves eating and drinking amongst themselves. No wonder the staff noticed this group of adults.
