Renewher, on Saturday an initiative for the transformation of the health of presidential women on Saturday will be launched at the State House Banquet Hall, Abuja
The initiative should redefine the future of women’s health in Nigeria.
The reference event, tagged Renewher Gala and Awards Night, is organized under the Senior Special Assistant office at the President on Women’s Health (OSAP-WH) and supported by Dr. Adanna Steinacker.
Renewher, an acronym for health, equity and reform, is a strategy based on data, enabled for technology and financially intelligent aimed at transforming the female healthcare scene of Nigeria. It is designed to act as a central coordination platform to mobilize the actors of the government, the private sector and the civil society for co-investigation into scalable health solutions and focus on the community.
The exclusive gala will present a presidential Keynote address, the first of the Renewher campaign film, the cultural windows, the Health Innovator Awards and a moment of symbolic national commitment.
Guests also witness the presentation of the Nigeria for women’s health communications and communications center, a new public health education platform, as well as the first edition of the magazine Nigeria for women’s health. The magazine will highlight the innovations, amplify the voices of women and complete national efforts in six key areas: maternal, neonatal and childish health; sexual and reproductive health; Health of adolescence and menstrual equity; Preventive nutrition and care; health work and access force; and construction of the community coalition.
Speaking before the launch, Dr. Steinacker said that the initiative was more than a program but “an invitation to national action”.
“Renewher concerns the redefinition of the future of women’s health and economic equity in Nigeria. With the center and the Nigeria magazine for women’s health, we are building a movement that will transform politics, enhances communities and inspires the next generation of health champions,” he said.
The initiative enjoys the support of the strategic partners, including the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF), the Nigeria Governors of the Governors (NGSF), the Federal Health Ministry), the maternity and the Matal and Neonatal Mortali Reduction Innovation Initiative (Mamii) and the women on the health network (Whihcn).
Through these partnerships, Renewher should guide measurable health results, while creating economic opportunities for women, using financial reward systems guided by behavior, digital, microgating wallets, skills training and support for innovations led by women in the health sector.
