16-year made history when Liverpool beat Newcastle in the 5 goal thriller

Rio Ngumoha Liverpool, 16 years old, made history as the youngest goal scorer in the club’s history in their Premier League match against Newcastle United on Monday night.

Ngumoha struck almost the last kick from a panting meeting to win 3-2 victory at the stunned St James Park.

Anthony was shown a red card by referee Simon Hooper for the final challenge that was in a hurry at Virgil van Dijk, and Liverpool led 2-0 from the first minute of the second half.

Hugo Ekitice netted the 46th minute goal after Ryan Gravenberch opened the score in the 34th minute, when the Premier League champions advanced.

But the host made a good battle immediately after that, and managed to pull the level 2-2 after the 57-minute attempt by Bruno Guimaraes and the 88th minute equalizer from Will Osula.

Liverpool almost wasting a definite victory, but the 16-year-old numoha hit in the 100th minute to seal a dramatic final result.
