Tinubu rejects a special assistant to the digital and creative economy, Fegho Umunubo

Ball President Ahmed Tinubu has relieved the assistant, especially about the digital and creative economy (Vice President’s Office), Fegho John Umunubo, from his duties.

The announcement, made through a statement issued by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director of Information and Public Relations in the State Building, confirmed that the release was immediately valid.

“The stakeholders and constituents of the digital and creative economy, at home and abroad, and the general public are told that Fegho John Umunubo, who until now serves as a special assistant for the President of the Digital and Creative Economy (Vice President’s Office), has been released with direct effects,” the statement was read.

The president also warned the industrial players not to recognize or transact with Umunubo on behalf of the government.

“Please pay attention that he no longer represents this administration in any capacity. Furthermore, anyone who interacts with him on behalf of the administration of President Tinubu does it with his own risk. We urge all stakeholders and constituents of the digital and creative economy to be guided,” added the statement.
