Soludo Orders arresting suspects related to the murder of the Anambra Market

The Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo, has ordered the arrest of the suspects related to the murder of a woman in the Main Market Onitsha.

People from Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (Ocha) reportedly fired shots on several traders after a fight at Emeka Offor Plaza who was busy on the Main Market Onitsha.

The Ocha Brigade is a state -managed law enforcement agent assigned to ensure environmental sustainability and government policy enforcement regarding cleanliness.

The Governor gave an order in a statement issued on Tuesday at AWKA by the State Commissioner for information, Dr. Law Mefor.

He also promised to meet the other four medical needs injured in the incident.

Soludo stressed that the investigation of the incident had begun and swear that the government will take steps to prevent recurrence.

“We appreciate the quick intervention of the police who work hard to recover calm and order to the area on the same day.

“Police patrols and law enforcement monitoring teams are still in the field in the area to ensure sustainable peace,” the statement said.
