The Independent National Electoral Commission (INC) formally recognized the former President of the Senate David Mark, as National President of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), with the former Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola, as national secretary.
The recognition follows the decision of the founder of the party and the first president of the past, Ralph Nwosu, which on July 2nd dissolved the National Working Committee (NWC) and approved a provisional leadership led by Mark.
In its meeting of the 99th Executive National (NEC) Committee in Abuja, the ADC officially delivered the reins for Mark and Aregbesola, also inaugurating a political committee of 50 members to review the party manifesto and guide the reforms.
Iosc confirmed the modification on his website on Wednesday, listing the new executive members of the part.
The recognized NWC includes Mark as National President, Aregbesola as national secretary, Manibahim Ahmad as a national treasurer, Prof. Oserheimeno Osunbor as national legal consultant and Akibu Dalhatu as a national financial secretary.
