The “Nigerian management group”, as previously called, was created in 1961, the Nigerian Management Institute (NIM) was born when trade, industry and the main government leaders had a meeting in order to put an organization in life that will supervise the management of various sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Law on management establishment in 2003.

As a business member of the Institute, you have an exclusive advantage of bringing the Institute to train your staff so that you can have a world -class service services for your staff as well as other attractive advantages of being a business member.
5 steps to join the Nigerian Management Institute
You should know that the opportunity for membership is open to all professionals inside and outside the country.
- To register as a member of the Institute, you just have to pay 5,000 Nairas (for individuals) or 10,000 Nairas (for companies)
- Once the payment has been made, you will have to take an exam, after which when you are successful, you will be inducted at the Institute. Induction arrives quarterly.
- As a member, you can choose to upgrade your membership and this can only be considered after spending a minimum of three years at the Institute.
- If you meet the requirement, you must then have at least 15 points, the points can only be obtained by assisting the events of SBD functions which are organized by the Institute, including the compulsory continuing professional training program.
- When satisfying the requirements, a member who wishes to upgrade their status will be necessary to pay a sum of 10,000 Nairas (which can be modified at any time) if the candidates owe the institute a debt, it will be required to release it and then send a letter to the institute’s email address.
