Flying Eagles Edge Australia in Friendly, Eye Strong Start vs Norway in the World Cup U20

Nigeria’s U20 team, the Flying Eagles, rounded its pre-World Cup preparations with a 3–1 victory over Australia U20 in a friendly door closed.

The objectives came from Tahir Maigana, Achihi Oseer and Charles Agada, giving coach Aliyu Zubairu cause of optimism before their opening party of Group F.

The victory is based on its first 1-1 draw with the hosts Chile in Rancagua, where Ahmed Akinyele converted a corner of Tahir Maigana before Chile matched just before part time.

Now, all the attention is directed to his first match in the FIFA World Cup U20 2025: Nigeria will face Norway on Monday, September 29 at 9:00 pm Wat, in fiscal stage in Talca.

A strong performance there could establish the tone for Nigeria’s campaign in a group that also includes Saudi and Colombia Arabia.

With an impulse on their side, the Flying Eagles will seek to adjust their defense, sharpen their finish and bring the confidence of these friendlies to a competitive action.
