Owerri Standard Tennis Development Club to induce the Sports Commissioner IMO Onyeocha as patron saint

The Owerri Standard Tennis Development Club has announced its intention to induce the IMO state commissioner for sports development, the Hon. Obinna Evaristus Onyeocha, like the club patron.

This was disclosed during a work visit to the club by the Commissioner, where the president of the club, Mr. Okey Anyiam, formally communicated the decision. The visit was testified by the best members of the club, including some trustees and customers such as Dr. Kachi Nwoga, Israel Osigwe, Emma Duru, Charles Duruaku and other remarkable personalities.

In his observations, Anyiam praised the results of the commissioner in office, highlighting the initiative “By illuminating the stadium” that improved the sports community and provided a qualifying environment for the athletes. He also praised the rapid onyeocha reward system for exceptional sportsmen and women of the IMO state who excel in the main competitions, describing it as one of the best policies of any state -of -the -art sports commissioner.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Kachi Nwoga and Israel Okigwe congratulated the commissioner for opening new roads in the ministry. They reiterated the special role of STDC in the development of the best Nigeria tennis players over the years and have promised the continuous support of the club for the growth and development of sport in the imo state.

The official induction ceremony, according to the club, will take place soon, on a date to be announced.
