The army stops 25 terrorists, saves 16 hostages in national operations

The troops of the Nigerian army have intensified their repression on terrorists and criminal bands across the country, arresting no less than 25 suspicions and saving 16 hostages in a series of coordinated operations.

Military sources referred to Thursday Platform Times that the supported offensive, carried out in several states, also led to the neutralization of different insurgents and the recovery of weapons, ammunition, explosives and logistical supplies.

In the north-east, the troops hired the Islamic State of the Province of West Africa (ISWAP) and Boko Haram fighters in the States of Borno and Adamawa.

The meetings in Kolori and Karumi, in the area of ​​the local government of Konduga and Madagali have caused the death of several insurgents.

A suspicious logistics supplier was arrested in the Mafa with 23 petrol containers hidden in a bag, while North Mubi soldiers intercepted petrol and fertilizers with terrorists.

In Garkida, the troops arrested a terrorist who confessed to taking part in the previous attacks on Damboa, while the recovered weapons included an M70AB2 rifle, four magazines and 150 ammunition shots born from 7.62 mm.

The military also recorded discoveries in the North-West, where the 1 brigade troops foiled numerous terrorist attempts in the state of Zamfara, saving six victims and seizing the motorcycles. In the same way, in Kaduna, a well -known bossing of the kidnapping was arrested in the village of Mayir, in the area of ​​the local government of Sanga.

In the center north, the Whirl Stroke operation the agents neutralized a violent extremist in Katsina-Ala, in Benue’s state, while saving 10 passengers kidnapped along the Kyado-Wukari road.

The troops also saved three victims of kidnappings near the city of Eruku in the state of Kwara and arrested the suspicions that transmit illegal drugs to Nasarawa.

The operations extended to the south-east and South-South, where the troops foiled the activities of iPob/ESN in the state of anmber, safely dispose of improvised explosive devices (IED) recovered after the criminals fled.

In IMO, two cultists were arrested with a gun, phones and a motorcycle. In Delta and Bayelsa, the safety agents have recovered firearms and arrested more drug dealers in relatives with the NDLEA.

At Rivers and Bayelsa, the troops seized over 1,200 liters of illegally refined oil products pursuant to the Delta Safe operation. Nineteen suspicions were also arrested for drugs related to drugs.

Overall, the army has recovered a cache of weapons and logistics, including rifles, ammunition, double bar pistols, cartridges, IED components, motorcycles, oil products, fertilizers and illegal drugs.

The military authorities said that the prolonged pressure on the criminal elements produced results and promised that the momentum would have been kept until peace is restored nationally.
