Owerri West was exploding for the excitement on Saturday while the match in Africa Tournament (Goat), sponsored by Afreximbank, began spectacularly in the field of Avu elementary school. The event attracted fans of football, cultural enthusiasts and leaders of the community of the whole IMO state.
The tournament was officially declared open by the IMO state commissioner for sports development, the Hon. Obinna Onyeocha, who gave the tone with a kick -off ceremonial.
