Collaboration between NDDC and Dunamis Icon sets pace for growth of Niger Delta sport – Chikere

The collaboration between Dunamis Icon and the Niger Delta Development Commission has been described as a model partnership that can redefine grassroots sports development in Nigeria.

Mrs. Sabina Chikere, Executive Director Sports Development and Operations at the Edo State Sports Commission, made this statement while reviewing the success of the recent Niger Delta Games.

He said the sponsorship structure demonstrated that significant sporting initiatives require both vision and financial support, stressing that seamless collaboration ensured the Games achieved their development objectives.

Chikere noted that the tournament had uncovered a number of promising young athletes and expressed optimism that continued corporate support would broaden opportunities for young people to engage in sport.
