The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has released its national congress schedule ahead of the party’s national convention.
The National Organizing Secretary, Mr Chinedu Idigo, and the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Bolaji Abdullahi, stated this in a joint statement released on Sunday in Abuja.
According to the statement, poll unit and ward congresses will be held on April 7, followed by local government area congresses on April 9 and state congresses on April 11.
It was revealed that the process would culminate at the party’s national convention scheduled for April 14.

The party advises members interested in vying for the vacant position to obtain and submit the relevant nomination form or expression of interest via the official ADC website.
“This process is part of the party’s constitutional responsibility to update the leadership structure at all organizational levels, culminating in a national convention.
“The approved schedule is as follows:
Polling and Environment Unit Congress, April 7, 2026; Local Government Congress, April 9; State Congress, April 11; and National Convention, April 14, 2026.
He urged members across the country to participate in the process and behave in accordance with the constitution, guidelines and democratic values of the ADC.
