President Tinubu congratulates Tunde Olusunle on his birthday

President Bola Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to Dr. Tunde Olusunle, a poet, journalist, editor and former Editorial Board member of the Daily Times, on his birthday, March 30, 2026.

President Tinubu commends Olusunle for his exemplary contribution to Kogi State and nation building.

Olusunle served three governors in Kogi State in information and media management positions between 1992 and 1998. He also served as a presidential assistant between 1999 and 2007.

President Tinubu commends Olusunle for his resourcefulness and his strong and cerebral commitment to the media as a journalist and watchdog of society.

President Tinubu particularly highlights Olusunle’s prolific writing and editing creativity, as well as his involvement in over a dozen books in the last four years.

In hailing Olusunle’s mentorship of younger and emerging writers and journalists, President Tinubu prays for Olusunle’s good health and greater wisdom.
