Not many know a 23-year-old Nigerian who has so far played 14 games in the Dutch first division with Telstar, where he is on loan from Utrecht.
His name is Neville Ogidi Nwankwo, who was playing amateur football in the Netherlands around this time last year, but has shown no signs of struggling to fit in at the top level.
Tall, fast and also very clean and tidy in his tackles, he is also fortunate to have the ability to receive a pass from deep and also help his team build from the back.
He is a team-mate of his older brother Nigel Ogidi Nwankwo, but it is his performances that have caught the eye as his brother, 27, has only made four appearances this season.
He has already been included in the official team of the week of the Dutch first division. A testament to how well he has performed under the demands of playing in the Dutch top flight.
His international future would have been a cause of concern for Nigeria because he was born in Holland, but sources say he has his heart and mind set on playing for Nigeria. Neither country has limited it to any level.
For now he is enjoying and thriving in a professional setup with a modest squad, and will return to Utrecht next season, where he is expected to be ready to play after gaining enough experience this season.
So far he has played 25 games this season and has played a very important role for Telstar, which is fighting to overcome relegation to the Second Division.
