The National Working Committee (NWC) has extended the sale of party expression of interest and nomination forms to candidates until May 4.
Sales of forms for candidates seeking elected office in the 2027 election under the party’s platform were initially scheduled to close on May 2.
APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Mr Durosinmi Meseko, who
announced this at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Thursday, saying the decision was taken at the party’s NWC meeting.
Meseko said the date was extended due to the Labor Day holiday on May 1 and to accommodate the high level of interest from candidates.
“The party has agreed to extend the deadline for selling the Declaration of Interest and Candidate Nomination Forms, as well as submitting completed forms for the 2027 Election,” he said.
He added that submission of completed forms and accompanying documents has also been extended until midnight May 5 2026.
