Kelechi Iheanacho helped Celtic FC clinch the 2025/26 Scottish Premiership title after a spectacular 3-1 comeback win over Heart of Midlothian FC in Paradise on Saturday.

Celtic claimed their 56th league crown after recovering from an early setback to seal the decisive victory in front of their home fans. Hearts took the lead through Michael Steinwender in the 38th minute before Arne Engels restored parity from the penalty spot late in the first half.

Manager Martin O’Neill introduced Iheanacho at half-time in place of Sebastian Tounekti, and the Hoops took control after the break with goals from Daizen Maeda and Callum Osmand, completing the turnaround and sparking title celebrations in Glasgow.

The Super Eagles striker finished the campaign with eight goals in 23 appearances in all competitions during his debut season with Celtic. The champions finished the season on 82 points, narrowly finishing two points ahead of Hearts in a fiercely contested title race.
