Goalkeeper Vincent Edafe leaves Warri Wolves after one season

Goalkeeper Vincent Edafe has parted ways with Warri Wolves following the expiration of his contract with the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) team.

Edafe, who joined the Seasiders from Remo Stars at the start of the season, confirmed his departure in a chat with Owosports.com.ng, revealing that his deal with the club was only due to last until the end of the campaign.

“My contract was only until the end of the season,” said Edafe.

The experienced goalkeeper spent a year with Warri Wolves, contributing his share during the club’s campaign before deciding to leave at the end of his contract.

Edafe has significant experience in Nigerian football, having previously played for Dakkada FC and Abia Warriors before his time at Warri Wolves.

With his departure now confirmed, the goalkeeper becomes a free agent and is available to interested clubs ahead of the new season as teams continue to strengthen their squads for upcoming competitions.
