Chivu gives the Super Eagles midfielder another chance at Inter Milan

Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu has given Nigerian international midfielder Ebenezer Akinsamiro another chance at the club following his return from a season-long loan spell with relegated side Pisa, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that there is news in Inter Milan’s midfield with Akinsanmiro returning to the club after Pisa did not activate the buyout clause in his contract. Although there is still a possibility of it happening.

The report said:

“Akinsanmiro’s situation is slightly different, as Pisa was unable to activate the purchase option, set at around €7.5 million, due to a bureaucratic gap or obstacle.

The high rating of Chivu, who knew him very well in his time in the reserve team where the Romanian was coach, seems to be in his favor.

“Therefore, he could stay at Inter unless an offer worth around €10 million arrives at the club’s headquarters in Via della Liberazione.”
