Real Madrid star Trent Alexander-Arnold has expressed his excitement at working with re-elected Real Madrid coach José Mourinho, praising the coach’s intense demands and high expectations during pre-season training.
The right-back noted that the team is eager to learn and believes Mourinho’s leadership will help the club win trophies.

The Englishman highlighted his eternal admiration for the Portuguese coach, highlighting their previous meetings as rivals.
As Mourinho begins his second spell at the Santiago Bernabéu, Alexander-Arnold expressed his excitement at laying the foundations for a successful season.
“I have always admired the coach (Mourinho). I have played against him a couple of times and it is a pleasure to work with him and his team,” Alexander-Arnold said in a statement.
“It’s intense. The principles and the level of demand are very high, so I’m looking forward to seeing how, the more we get to know each other, the more we learn and the more it can teach us. And we are all willing and eager to learn and improve.

“I’m sure he will teach us a lot of things and help us win trophies this year.”
However, the departure of defender Dani Carvajal in May has opened an opportunity for Alexander-Arnold to establish himself as Madrid’s starting right-back.
“I’ve been out of action for a long time so it’s good to finally be back and lay a solid foundation for a successful season,” added the 27-year-old Englishman.
