CISA, COMPSSA and NUESA reach the semi-finals of the ULSU Super Cup

He Lagos University Students Union (ULSU) Super Cup delivered another day of exciting action as CISA, COMPSSA and NUESA places guaranteed for the men’s football semi-finals, while NUESA, PESSA, FESSA and MSA advanced in the women’s competition after impressive quarterfinal victories at the UNILAG Sports Center.

CISA earned its place among the four finalists with a convincing result 2-0 victory over COMSSAwhile COMPSA sharp Architecture 1-0 in a very close match to keep their title hopes alive.

NUESA completed the men’s semifinal lineup with an impressive 2-0 victory over SOSSAcontinuing their impressive run in the ULSU football tournament.

In the women’s quarterfinals, NUESA produced one of the standout performances of the day, defeating Life sciences 3-0 to seal the qualification. WEIGHT matched that score with a dominant 3-0 victory over COMPSSAwhile FESA comfortably surpassed 3-0 architecture.

The closest duel of the women’s football quarterfinals was seen MSA edge SOSSA 2-1getting the spot in the last semi-final after a very close performance.

The basketball competition also produced entertaining contests across the faculties. ULES defeated COMSA 31-23while WEIGHT convincingly stated 32-15 victory over CISA.

FASA sharp MORE 33-26 in another competitive match, before NUESA concluded the day’s basketball action with a dominant 49-27 victory over FACASA.

With the semi-final stage already set in football and the basketball tournament gaining momentum, the Lagos University Students Union Super Cup continues to showcase the depth of sporting talent across the institution, generating excitement from students and fans alike.
