Chukwueze Provides Assist In Milan’s 2-2 Draw Against Celtic

Samuel Chukwueze provided a superb assist as AC Milan came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Scottish champions Celtic in a pre-season match on Saturday. completesports.com information.

Chukwueze, who was named among the substitutes, came on at the start of the second half to provide the assist that made it 2-2.

It was Celtic’s final pre-season match before the league season begins in just over a week, while it was Milan’s first friendly.

Celtic took the lead in the 12th minute when a stray pass from Pavlovic to Lorenzo Torriani was taken advantage of by Camilo Durán, who fired in from close range.

The Scottish giants doubled their lead in the 28th minute thanks to James Forrest. New Milan coach Ruben Amorim made many changes as expected at half-time, with the starting eleven for the second half featuring Chukwueze among the players introduced.

It didn’t take long for one of those substitutes to make a big impact, and it was Francesco Camarda who did. He won a penalty two minutes into the restart and was given the ball to convert, and he did so emphatically with a side foot into the top right corner to score a goal and make it 2-1 in the 47th minute.

Camarda had a great chance to put Milan ahead when he headed wide a Chukwueze cross. However, he made no mistake in the 52nd minute as he again finished off the Nigerian’s cross to level the score at 2-2.

Chukwueze received a pass, beat his marker and ran towards goal from the wing and sent in a brilliant cross with the outside of his left foot which Camarda headed home.

The Super Eagles star was on loan at Fulham last season, where he scored three goals and provided four assists in 23 Premier League games.
