The Falconets land in Poland for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup

The Nigerian Falconets have arrived in Poland ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. completesports.com information.

The team will now intensify preparations for the big global event, focusing on final training sessions, tactical exercises and ensuring the players are in the best condition for the tournament.

Before leaving Nigeria, the Falconets underwent an extensive training program in Abuja, where they also participated in a series of friendly matches as part of their preparation.

Moses Aduku’s team will test their preparation with warm-up matches against hosts Poland and Korea Republic before the start of the competition.

Coach Aduku named his final 21-player squad for the tournament on the eve of the team’s departure to Poland.

Nigeria is drawn in Group F along with Spain, China and New Caledonia.

The Falconets will begin their campaign against Spain at the Arena Sosnowiec on Monday, September 7.

They will return to the same venue three days later to face China in their second group match.

Aduku’s team will complete their campaign in the group stage against New Caledonia at the Stadion Miejski ŁKS on Sunday, September 13.

The Falconets will be hoping to put in an impressive performance in Poland as they look to challenge for honors at the world tournament.
