Nigerian Under-23 winger Christian Nwachukwu says he hopes to spring a big surprise when Azerbaijan’s Sabah take on Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League tomorrow, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Nwachukwu will return to England for the first time since his summer transfer from English Championship side Sheffield United, where he failed to make the step up to the main team.
He joined Sabah in the summer transfer window on a permanent contract and opened his goal tally in a 4-2 win over Hapoel Beer-Sheva, which helped them reach the group stage of the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.
