One of four solo songs on Still In Charge, “Deliberate Work” keeps Nigerian band BNXN in the spotlight on its latest six-song CD.

The EP follows “Online”, which was released shortly before the entire project. This record gives BNXN another chance to deliver the performance without relying on a featured vocal.

The song was produced by Blaisebeatz who had previously produced Asake’s “Eja Meja”. THere the focus is less on a large-scale collaboration and more on BNXN’s melodic delivery, giving the producer yet another role to play in the project’s overall sound.

This mix of features and solo tracks is what allows Still In Charge to remain recognizably BNXN’s project. His repertoire has long been known for a distinctive tone and conversational songwriting, and this record allows those elements to breathe without any added star power surrounding them.

The song can be streamed on all major digital platforms. Check it out and share your thoughts in the comments below.
