Kota embarks his 2026 project, the the album “Grootman Series II”, with the powerful song “Come closer, introduction.” The first of twelve songs, it sets the tone for the album’s story and invites the listener into a distinctly South African setting.
The opening features a lively collaboration with Dj Mremz & Ivy Beatz, Goitse Levati and G Master, adding layers and complexity to the tune. In their joint presence, we find layers that suggest the diversity of the record.
The first track of the album “Grootman Series II” is called “Come Closer Intro” and summarizes the essence of the project. The placement of the track is important, as it sets the tone for the twelve-song journey that follows, a careful and thoughtful start to the album.
