Breaking: Senate confirms Olukoyede as EFCC chairman

The Senate, Wednesday, confirmed the nomination of Ola Olukoyede as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The upper chamber also confirmed Muhammad Hammajoda as the Secretary to the Commission.

Their confirmation comes after they were screened .

President Bola Tinubu had on October 12, 2023 appointed Olukoyede and Hammajoda as chairman and secretary to the commission respectively.
