Osimhen Is A Premier League Player — Hoddle

Osimhen is on the Wishlist of several Premier League clubs that includes the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.

The 25-year-old who has €120m release clause on his contract with Napoli is also wanted by Paris Saint-Germain.

With the striker set to decide his future at the end of the season, Hoddle believes a move to the Premier League would be the the best trajectory for the Nigerian.

“He’s a Premier League player looking at him, the style of him as well, and the league, the style suits him, but he’s got his hunger back,” Hoddle said on TNT Sports during the UEFA Champions League show.

“That’s the main thing. I think now he’s back to his best. He’s got the hunger, and the movement, he wants to score goals. That’s the big difference, the mindset.”

Osimhen has scored 13 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for the Partenopei this season.

The Nigeria international scored 31 across all competitions as Napoli lifted Italian Serie A title last season.

He joined Napoli in a club record deal from Lille in 2020.
