Genk star Arokodare craves big opportunity

KRC Genk striker Tolu Arokodare hopes to get the opportunity to represent Nigeria in the future.

Arokodare is one of the young Nigerian forwards making waves in Europe.

The 23-year-old scored 12 goals in 40 league appearances for Genk during the 2023/24 season.

Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, Terem Moffi, Paul Onuachu and Taiwo Awoniyi are some of the forwards who have played consistently for the Super Eagles in recent years.

However, the former Amiens SC star of France is determined to be part of the national team in the future.

“Jay Jay Okocha and Kanu made me love the Super Eagles. I don’t speak only for myself, but I am sure that when they call you, you will go there to fight. If they call me, I will give everything and die there,” he said. Brila FM.
