President Bola Tinubu has ordered the resignation of Mr Mamman Ahmadu as Director General of the Bureau of Government Procurement (BPP).
This was disclosed by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement on Saturday in Abuja.
He said the directive was part of a larger reorganization effort in the public procurement system.

The statement said: “The aim is to reposition the agency to make it more efficient and transparent.
“The Director General will be handed over to the most senior official in the Bureau, pending the appointment of a new Director General.
“The President thanked Ahmadu for his service and wished him success in his future endeavours.”
