Truck loses control, killing 14 worshipers in Kano.

A tragedy occurred on Friday in Imawa town of Kura Local Government Area of ​​Kano State along the Zaria-Kano Highway as a moving truck lost control and killed no less than 14 worshippers.

It was learned that the accident occurred along the highway when the truck hit the worshipers returning from Juma’at Mosque after observing the two Friday rakat prayers.

The Kano Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, CC Ibrahim Abdullahi, who confirmed the incident to journalists, said several other persons also sustained varying degrees of injuries.
